The techniques used will depend on the species and location. We use hazing techniques where deemed effective, and can provide removal of certain species at landowners request. All removals must be conducted according to regulations set by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Wolves

Ranchers and their agents are limited to “non-injurious, non-lethal” deterrents (fladry, lights, noisemakers) to protect their livestock from wolves. If wolves have been confirmed on the property or lease you may apply for an “intentionally injurious, non-lethal” permit from CPW. This allows the use of rubber buckshot/slugs to haze wolves. Lethal control is only legal if a wolf is caught in the act of killing or injuring livestock.
